68-year-old Paul Clish dead after a motorcycle crash in Oakland County (Springfield Township, MI)

Authorities identified 68-year-old Paul Clish, from Walled Lake, as the man who lost his life following a two-vehicle collision on Friday in Oakland County.

The fatal motorcycle crash took place at about 3:00 p.m. on Dixie Highway near Hutchinson Drive in Springfield Township. According to the investigation reports, the man was riding a 2006 Harley-Davidson motorcycle south on Dixie Highway near Hutchinson Drive.

At some point of time, a 2020 Chevrolet Equinox, driven by a 69-year-old Davisburg woman turned left in front of his motorcycle as a result of which both the vehicles crashed. The man suffered major injuries and was declared dead at the scene by the officials.

Officers identified the motorcycle rider as 68-year-old Paul Clish. He was reportedly wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. The Davisburg woman incurred only minimal injuries. Alcohol and drug use did not seem to be involved in the crash. No other details are available.

An investigation continues.
