The Louisiana State Police responded to a single-vehicle crash that claimed a man’s life. The accident happened on Louisiana Highway 34, North of Louisiana Highway 557.
The victim was identified as William F. Guraedy, 67, from West Monroe, Louisiana.
A 2007 GMC Sierra travelling south on Louisiana Highway 34 left the roadway and hit a tree.
Guraedy was declared dead at the scene by the officials.
Alcohol or drugs do not seem to be a factor in the accident.
A toxicology sample was collected for further analysis.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
