The Bakersfield Police responded to a bicycle crash that killed the old man in Wasco on Sunday evening.
The motorcyclist was hit by a truck during the accident.
The victim was identified as 67-Year-Old Salvador Covarrubias.
Salvador was riding his bicycle at the intersection of Poplar and Filburn avenues.
Te officials stated that the accident occurred at around 8:19 am.
According to the officials, the bicycle rider had undergone several injuries during the accident. The old man was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The Kern County coroner’s office added that the truck driver did not stop or render aid.
No additional information regarding the fatal crash is avaibale at the moment.
