67-year-old motorcyclist killed after a hit-and-run crash in Bayview (San Francisco, CA)

On Sunday morning, a 67-year-old man lost his life following a motorcycle accident in the Bayview neighborhood.

As per the initial information, officers quickly responded to the area of 300 block of Bayshore Boulevard near Oakdale Avenue at 8:52 a.m. after getting reports of a hit-and-run crash. On arrival, responding officers found a motorcyclist down in the roadway. Emergency crews rendered aid and the man was rushed to a hospital.

Despite all life-saving efforts, the 67-year-old man died of his injuries. Troopers are investigating the incident as a hit-and-run as the driver of the involved vehicle did not stop after hitting the victim. No other details are available.

The incident remains under active review.
