67-Year-Old Margaret Anne Tippen Died In A Pedestrian Crash In Springfield Township (Oakland County, MI)

On Wednesday, the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office responded to a pedestrian crash that claimed a life in Springfield Township. 

The victim was identified as 67-year-old Margaret Anne Tippen, who was hit by a pickup truck.

According to the officials, Anne Tippen of Clarkston was walking west on Kier road when she was hit by a Chevrolet Silverado.

Anne Tippen died at the scene following the crash. The 24-year-old driver from Adrian was not hurt. 

Alcohol or drugs are not suspected to be a factor in the crash. No further details regarding the crash are currently available. 

The crash is still being investigated.
