67-year-old man dead after a bicycle crash in Santa Ana (Santa Ana, CA)

On Saturday morning, a 67-year-old man lost his life following a two-vehicle collision in Santa Ana.

As per the initial information, the fatal bicycle accident took place at about 8:30 a.m. on Bristol Street and Edinger Avenue. The preliminary investigation indicated that the bicyclist was traveling south on Bristol Street while the vehicle was eastbound on Edinger Avenue when the incident happened.

On arrival, emergency crews rushed the bicycle rider to a hospital where he later died of his injuries. The driver of the involved vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities. At this time, it is unknown if speed or intoxication contributed to the accident. The identity of the deceased will be revealed once the next of kin is notified. No other details are made available.

The crash remains under investigation.
