66-year-old woman hurt after a rollover crash in St. Clair Shores (St. Clair Shores, MI)

On Wednesday afternoon, a 66-year-old woman, from Roseville, was hospitalized following a rollover crash on a busy Metro Detroit freeway ramp in St. Clair Shores.

As per the initial information, the single-vehicle accident took place at about 3:30 p.m. The preliminary reports revealed that a vehicle, driven by 66-year-old Roseville woman, was exiting westbound I-94 to 11 Mile Road when it ran a stop sign.

After running the stop sign, the vehicle drifted around traffic on 11 Mile, before it flipped down the embankment and ended up on the ramp from eastbound I-94 to westbound I-696. The vehicle struck several large trees along the embankment, causing them to fall into the right lane of the ramp.
