66-year-old Aloma Waith dead after a multi-vehicle wreck in Fresno (Fresno, CA)

Authorities identified 66-year-old Aloma Waith, of Stockton, as the woman who lost her life following a wreck Tuesday in Fresno.

As per the initial information, the multi-vehicle pile-up took place at around 3 a.m. on Highway 99 near Cedar Avenue. The early reports showed that a vehicle crashed into a wall, crossed the lanes of the highway and came to stop in the center median. A Good Samaritan in a grey SUV stopped to help the female driver.

After some time, another vehicle hit the back of the SUV, causing the vehicle to flip over. According to the authorities, six vehicles in total were involved in the chain-reaction crash. The woman was declared dead at the scene by the officials while other drivers received minor to moderate injuries. No other details are available.

An investigation is ongoing at this time.
