63-year-old man injured after an auto-pedestrian collision in San Francisco (San Francisco, CA)

On Tuesday night, a 63-year-old man sustained life-threatening injuries after a vehicle hit him in San Francisco.

As per the initial information, the auto-pedestrian crash was reported at 8:03 p.m. in the area of Third Street and Harrison streets. The preliminary investigation indicated that a 65-year-old man driving the 2019 Volkswagen Golf struck the male pedestrian for undetermined reasons.

On arrival, medical personnel rushed the victim to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. In an update on Wednesday, his condition was unknown. Reports further stated that the driver of the involved vehicle was not arrested. No further details were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
