According to the Los Angeles Police Department, a 63-year-old woman, identified as Jamilah Leah De Roux, died in a hit-and-run accident in Los Angeles.
At the intersection of Cimarron Street, a vehicle struck Jamilah Leah De Roux and fled the scene. The woman was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. The officials have not released a description of the vehicle involved at this time.
It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
