Authorities identified 63-year-old Daniel Dwain Orr and 63-year-old Mark Magsanay, both from Lubbock, as the men who died after a traffic accident Tuesday night in Hockley County.
As per the initial information, the fatal two-vehicle collision took place at about 9:20 p.m. The preliminary reports showed that a pickup truck driven by Daniel Dwain Orr, 63, was heading east on U.S. 84 in the inside westbound lane when the pickup collided with the front left of a passenger car driven by Mark Magsanay, 63, going west.
Both drivers succumbed to their injuries at the scene. It is unknown if either of the two vehicles was occupied by any passengers. No other details have been provided by the officials.
An investigation is ongoing.
