62-year-old woman died, man injured after a traffic collision in Tukwila (Tukwila, WA)

A 62-year-old woman from Shelton lost her life after a traffic collision Saturday in Tukwila.

As per the initial information, the two-vehicle accident took place after 3:15 a.m. on Interstate 5, north of Interurban Avenue South. The early reports indicated that the stalled car did not have its lights when it was hit by another vehicle.

The Shelton woman, who was driving the disabled car, succumbed to her injuries at the scene. An Auburn man was taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries. The identities of the victims have not been released. No other details are available.

The crash remains under investigation.
