The Phoenix Police Department reported a motor vehicle accident on Sunday morning. The accident occurred near 43rd Avenue and Indian School Road at around 5:30 a.m.
According to the officials, a car and a motorcycle were involved in the collision. The car was headed north on 43rd when she made a left turn into a private driveway. This caused her to collide with the motorcycle.
The motorcyclist was critically injured and taken to a local hospital. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead. The officials have identified the man as Victor Quibas, 62.
The driver of the vehicle involved in the fatal crash remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. The officials have confirmed that she was not impaired at the time of the crash.
