The crash happened at the intersection of Neely Avenue and Cessna Dr.
According to the Midland Police Department Traffic Division, a motorcycle and a sedan were involved in the collision.
The motorcyclist failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with a sedan traveling westbound.
62-year-old Robert Redman was identified as the motorcyclist and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Texas Police are investigating whether drugs, alcohol, distracted driving, or speed played a factor in the crash.
No additional information regarding the fatal crash was provided by the investigators.
