62-year-old Lori Susan Allen dead after an auto-pedestrian crash in Huntington Beach (Huntington Beach, CA)

Authorities identified 62-year-old Lori Susan Allen, from Seal Beach, as the woman who lost her life after getting struck by a vehicle Tuesday in Huntington Beach.

The fatal auto-pedestrian collision took place at around 11 p.m. on Bolsa Chica Street, north of Argosy Avenue. The preliminary reports showed that the 2019 Toyota Highlander was heading southbound on Bolsa Chica when it hit Allen in the roadway outside of a crosswalk.

The driver of the Highlander and its passenger stayed at the scene and fully cooperated with the investigators. Drugs and alcohol were not believed to be involved in the accident. No further details are available.

An investigation is ongoing.
