62-year-old James E Cox Jr. killed after a solo-vehicle crash in Nashville (Nashville, TN)

On Friday morning, 62-year-old James E Cox Jr. lost his life following a traffic collision in Nashville.

As per the initial information, the fatal single-vehicle crash took place on McCrory Lane. The early reports revealed that Coz was driving his white GMC Sierra truck when the vehicle swerved off the right side of the roadway and into a barrier.

The vehicle then continued down the embankment and into a creek bed, where it hit several large rocks and a small tree. On arrival, medical personnel rushed Cox to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries. Officials said that there was no evidence of impairment at the scene. No further details were provided.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
