According to the Pacifica Police, a motor vehicle accident occurred in San Mateo County on Tuesday.
The crash happened on Skyline, between Hickey Boulevard and King drive at around 3:30 a.m.
A 60-year-old pedestrian suffered major injuries during the collision and was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to the police, the deceased victim was unconscious and was not breathing on the roadway.
The officials are investigating whether drugs, alcohol, distracted driving, or speed played a factor in the crash.
Some portions between Hickey Boulevard and King drive are blocked for further investigation.
No additional information regarding the fatal crash was provided by the Deputies.
