60-Year-Old Robert S Evans Killed In A Motorcycle Crash North Of Tucumcari (San Miguel, NM)

The New Mexico State Police Officers responded to a motorcycle accident north of Tucumcari on Monday Night that claimed a life.

The crash occurred at milepost 98 of New Mexico State Road 104 at around 9 p.m. 

The victim was identified as 60-year-old Robert S Evans from Nara Visa.

The accident occurred when Evans’ 2002 Harley Davidson struck a deer on NM 104 eastbound. He was transported to a hospital with deadly injuries. Officials said Evans was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

Alcohol or drugs do not seem to be a factor that caused the crash.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
