6-year-old Batoul died after a pedestrian crash in Dearborn (Dearborn, MI)

6-year-old Batoul lost her life on Sunday afternoon following an auto-pedestrian accident in Dearborn.

The fatal hit-and-run crash took place at about 2:50 p.m. on Bingham Road in Dearborn. According to the investigation reports, the girl, whose first name is Batoul, was crossing the street when the car hit her.

On arrival, emergency crews transported her to Children’s Hospital where she was later declared dead. Reports further added that both her sisters were with her when she got struck. Officers are searching for the hit-and-run driver in a gray Chevrolet Equinox which hit and killed the girl.

The incident remains under active review.
