59-year-old man in critical condition after a motorcycle crash in Holland Township (Holland Township, MI)

On Friday, a 59-year-old man, from West Olive, suffered injuries following a two-vehicle accident in Holland Township.

As per the initial information, the motorcycle crash was reported at about 2:30 p.m. on James Street east of 120th Avenue. The preliminary investigation revealed that a 2015 GMC Sierra, driven by a 22-year-old Holland man, was pulling out of a private drive onto James Street.

The pickup truck came into the path of an eastbound 2008 Kawasaki motorcycle. The motorcycle, driven by a 59-year-old man, collided with the pickup truck. Due to the impact, the man was thrown from his motorcycle.

The motorcycle rider was flown to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. He was reportedly wearing a helmet at the time of the collision. The Holland man remained unharmed in the accident. No further details were provided.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
