59-year-old Frances Woodall killed after a two-vehicle crash on I-24 in Rutherford County (Rutherford County, TN)

On Wednesday afternoon, 59-year-old Frances Woodall, from Nashville, lost his life following a two-vehicle accident on Interstate 24 in Rutherford County.

As per the initial information, the fatal car crash took place in the westbound lanes of I-24 at mile marker 80. The early reports revealed that an 18 wheeler was sitting in the second lane from the center dividing wall due to a mechanical failure.

Just then, a Nissan Pathfinder traveling westbound crashed into the truck from behind. The driver of the Pathfinder, Frances Woodall, succumbed to his injuries after the collision. No other details are available.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
