According to the California Highway Patrol, a multi-vehicle accident occurred in Fresno County. The crash happened on Highway 168 west of Gooseberry Lane and south of Prather.
According to the investigators, a 2007 Ducati sports bike and a 2004 Toyota 4Runner were involved in the collision. The motorcyclist was traveling eastbound when he lost control of the vehicle and collided with the Toyota.
A 59-year-old Daljit Gill was identified as the motorcyclist who suffered significant injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to the reports, it is unclear what caused the crash and if drugs or alcohol were a factor involved. No additional information regarding the fatal crash was provided by the Deputies.
