On Saturday, 58-year-old Antonio Coronado, from Pico Rivera, lost his life following a traffic accident on 215 Freeway.
As per the initial information, officers quickly responded to the area of southbound freeway near University Avenue at about 11:29 p.m. after getting reports of a two-vehicle crash. The early reports showed that a semi-trailer big rig and another vehicle were involved in the collision.
Antonio Coronado suffered major injuries and was declared deceased at the scene by the officials. The events that have led up to the accident remain unknown at this time. No other details are immediately available.
