Authorities identified 57-year-old Anthony Ramirez as the man who lost his life following a two-vehicle accident that also injured three people on Thursday morning in Lake Elsinore.
As per the initial information, the fatal car crash was reported at 6:32 a.m. on Riverside Street near Highway 74 in which a car and a school bus were involved. The preliminary investigation indicated that the school bus was turning left from northbound Riverside Street onto westbound Highway 74 when it was T-boned by Ramirez’s eastbound 2009 Chevrolet HHR.

On arrival, emergency responders freed Ramirez who was pinned in his car and transported him to Inland Valley Medical Center where he later succumbed to his injuries. Paramedics took an 8-year-old boy and a 5-year-old girl, both students, to a hospital with minimal injuries.
The students were later released from the hospital after treatment. The school bus driver, a 69-year-old Wildomar man, remained unharmed in the crash. However, his 20-year-old passenger received minor injuries. No other details are made available.
