56-year-old Willie Lindsey killed after a motorcycle crash in Columbus (Columbus, GA)

On Monday night, 56-year-old Willie Lindsey was killed following a traffic collision in Columbus.

As per the initial information, the fatal motorcycle crash took place at the intersection of Miller Road and Pittman Street. The early reports showed that a motorcycle and at least one other vehicle were involved in the accident. On arrival, emergency personnel rushed the motorcyclist, identified as Willie Lindsey, to a hospital.

According to the officials, he succumbed to his injuries at Piedmont Columbus Regional’s Emergency Room at 5:56 p.m. on Monday. A large section of the Miller Road was shut down in the area as crews worked at the scene. Columbus Police Motor Squad also responded to the scene. No other details are available.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
