54-year-old Melinda Lovelady died after a two-vehicle accident in downtown Nashville (Nashville, TN)

On Sunday night, 54-year-old Melinda Lovelady, a resident of Tyler, TX, lost her life following a two-vehicle collision in downtown Nashville.

As per the initial information, the fatal incident took place in the northbound lane of 3rd Avenue South at Symphony Place in which a Lime scooter and a semi-tractor were involved. The preliminary investigation indicated that Melinda Lovelady failed to maintain control of her Lime scooter while traveling in the northbound lane of 3rd Avenue.

Just then, her vehicle collided with the rear tires of a southbound moving semi-tractor. Lovelady succumbed to her injuries at the accident scene. No other details are immediately available.

The crash remains under investigation.
