The Louisiana State Police responded to a motor vehicle accident Wednesday morning.
The crash happened along LA-959.
The victim was identified as 53-year-old Stacey Hornsby of Clinton.
Hornsby was driving on LA-595 East of LA-63 when her car crossed the center line and hit another vehicle.
She was pronounced deceased at the scene. The other vehicle driver suffered moderate injuries and was taken to the hospital.
According to Troopers, Hornsby was not wearing her seatbelt during the crash.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
