According to the Clark County Coroner’s Office, a fatal crash was reported on Monday in Las Vegas.
Authorities confirmed that one person died due to the accident.
Officials stated that the collision occurred near East Lake Mead Boulevard and North Marion Drive.
The deceased 53-year-old was identified as Kay Loya.
Loya driving her Chevrolet Silverado, collided into a Freightliner Columbia semi-truck.
Loya drove through a stop sign and thereby the semi-truck struck the driver’s side of her vehicle.
Loya succumbed to her injuries when taken to the hospital. Impariment is not suspected to have been a factor in the crash.
