The Costa Mesa Police Department reported a motor vehicle accident.
The officials stated that the crash happened on the 2900 block of Bristol Street at around 5:15 p.m.
The officials confirmed that three people were injured in the crash including a pregnant woman, the driver of the vehicle, and his passenger.
The officials reported that the driver crashed into the front of one of the restaurants and into the kitchen of another.
The officials revealed that Juan Bustamante,53, was driving under the influence at the time of the crash.
The suspect and his passenger suffered minor injuries. The officials did not update the condition of the pregnant woman.
