El Paso police are investigating a hit-and-run crash that claimed a life. The crash happened on Thursday when a pedestrian tried to cross Loop 375 from south to north.
The victim, a 52-year-old Guatemalan man, was running across the road with a group of about six other men.
The vehicle fled the scene after the collision.
On Thursday night, the suspect driver turned himself in to the police. He was identified as 61-year-old Ismael Galindo Corral of Juarez.
Galindo Corrol was arrested and will be booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility.
