52-year-old Andre Lewis and 53-year-old Parrish Jones died after a crash in North Las Vegas (North Las Vegas, NV)

Authorities identified 52-year-old Andre Lewis and 53-year-old Parrish Jones as the motorcyclists who lost their lives following a multi-vehicle wreck Sunday in North Las Vegas.

The fatal motorcycle crash took place on Cheyenne Avenue at around 5:30 p.m. According to the investigation reports, three motorcycles were traveling east on Cheyenne Avenue near Interstate 15. The riders swerved off, with one crashing into an SUV going in the opposite direction. Another motorcycle slammed into a median sign.

Andre Lewis and Parrish Jones succumbed to their injuries at the scene while the third rider incurred only minor injuries. The driver of the SUV was transported to University Medical Center with non-fatal injuries. Officials said that the motorcyclists were traveling at a high rate of speed prior to the crash. No other details are made available.

An investigation continues.
