According to the California Highway Patrol, a fatal crash was reported on Friday in Nevada County. Officials confirmed that a 51 year old man died due to the motor vehicle accident.
Authorities stated that the collision occurred on the highway south of Streeter Road in South Nevada County.
The driver of a Jeep Cherokee, was driving recklessly and swerving from lane to lane.He therefore lost control of the vehicle and overturned it several times.
He was found dead at the scene of the crash.
The CHP are suspecting alcohol to be a factor that led to the crash. The crash remains under further investigation by the CHP.
