According to the Police, a pedestrian accident was reported in Beaumont on Wednesday.
The officials stated that 51-year-old Kelly June Grogan Jr. was killed in the crash that involved a tractor-trailer truck.
The officials reported that the crash happened at around 4:06 a.m. near Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in the 1200 Block of Interstate 10 East.
In an attempt to cross the 1200 block of Interstate Highway 10, the 18-wheeler struck Kelly.
Police stated that the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the Police.
Officials did not reveal if other casualties were reported at the scene.
The Police provided no additional information regarding the fatal crash.
