50-year-old Lee Lege killed after an auto-pedestrian collision in Lafayette (Lafayette, LA)

Authorities identified 50-year-old Lee Lege as the man who lost his life after being hit by a vehicle on Tuesday night in Lafayette.

The fatal auto-pedestrian crash took place in the 3100 block of W. Pinhook Road at about 11 p.m. According to the investigation reports, the Lafayette man was attempting to cross Pinhook when he got struck by a vehicle heading south.

On arrival, emergency personnel rushed Lee Lege to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. Officers did not arrest anyone after the accident. No other details are made available.

The incident remains under active review.
