The Washington State Patrol reported a motor vehicle crash in Vancouver on Wednesday night.
According to police, 48-year-old Warren Dickinson, a Portland resident, was merging from SR-500 to I-205 southbound at around 11 p.m. when he ran off the road, hit a barrier, and rolled his car onto the interstate’s shoulder.
Dennis Coplin, a 50-year-old resident of Woodland, Washington, was the crash victim who died in the crash.
According to a report from the Washington State Patrol, Dickinson was intoxicated at the time.
Dickinson was accused of homicide by vehicle.
