50-Year-Old Ben Small Killed In A Pedestrian Crash In Bogalusa (Bogalusa, LA)

Louisiana State Police responded to a pedestrian crash that claimed a life. The crash happened in Washington Parish on Friday around 5:45 p.m. 

According to the troopers, Ben Small, 50, was struck by a 2012 GMC Acadia that was heading south on LA Highway 21. Small was wearing dark clothes during the crash. 

The cause of the crash is yet to be identified. 

The GMC driver sustained minor injuries from the crash and was taken to the hospital. The driver was wearing a seatbelt during the crash. 

The toxicology reports are pending. The crash is being investigated.
