The Police Department reported a motor vehicle crash in Detroit.
The collision involved two pickup trucks.
The accident happened close to Paul Avenue and Piedmont Street, west of Southfield Freeway and north of Ford Road.
The white pickup truck’s driver allegedly ran a stop sign, collided with another vehicle, and then drove both vehicles into a power pole, bringing down the power lines.
A 12-year-old and four other people were taken by ambulance to the hospital.
While attempting to save people, two Detroit police officers were shocked by the power lines.
According to police, the driver of the white pickup’s driver had a suspended license while the other had none.
