48-Year-Old Man Died In A Motorcycle Accident In Lakewood (Lakewood, WA)

Washington State Patrol responded to a motorcycle crash in Lakewood on Sunday morning that claimed a life.

Officials state that a 48-year-old Oregon man was driving his motorcycle north on Interstate 5 when it went off the road and struck a barrier. The vehicle rested on the left shoulder.

He was transported to an area hospital, where he later died from his injuries. 

The driver was wearing a DOT-compliant helmet during the crash. 

The crash remains under investigation. Additional details regarding the crash are currently unavailable.
