48-year-old Kasandra Trahan killed after a two-vehicle collision in Lake Charles (Lake Charles, LA)

Authorities identified 48-year-old Kasandra Trahan, from Sulphur, as the woman who lost her life following a two-vehicle accident on Mar. 30 in Lake Charles.

As per the initial information, the fatal car crash took place on Country Club Road in Lake Charles. Officers responded to the crash scene at about 7:30 a.m. The early reports showed that a Ford F250 being driven by 37-year-old Joshua Miller, of Lake Charles, was heading eastbound on Country Club Road.

The reports also revealed that a truck crashed into a Toyota SUV, being driven by Kasandra Trahan that was heading westbound on the same road. The collision happened when Trahan made a left turn into a private driveway and got hit by Miller’s vehicle. On arrival, medical personnel rushed Trahan to a local hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries. No further details were provided.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
