Hurst Police responded to a disabled vehicle crash on Airport Freeway in Hurst on Friday morning.
The crash happened in the 200 block of eastbound Airport Freeway shortly after 2:30 a.m.
According to reports, the victim was stopped outside his vehicle when the accident happened with a disabled vehicle.
The suspect who hit the victim was identified as Bamwesige Kisuuli, 47, who was charged with intoxication assault with a vehicle-serious bodily injury.
The victim is being treated at a hospital.
No further information regarding the crash is currently available.
The crash is still being investigated by the Hurst Police.
