46-Year-Old Woman Killed In A Pedestrian Accident In San Antonio (San Antonio, TX)

A tragic incident occurred on the West Side when a woman, 46, lost her life after being struck by a vehicle while crossing the street. The pedestrian accident took place around 9 p.m. in the 1500 block of NW 36th Street.

Both the woman and a man, 49, were crossing outside of the designated crosswalk when they were hit by a silver Nissan Altima. The driver of the Nissan remained at the fatal crash and fully cooperated with the investigation. Both victims were promptly taken to a local hospital, where the woman was later pronounced dead.

The man’s condition was reported as stable. At present, no criminal charges are anticipated to be filed. The identity of the victim has not been disclosed at this time.
