45-year-old Jason Navoy killed after a small Sedan struck a bicycle on Mission Boulevard (Jurupa Valley, CA)

Authorities identified 45-year-old Jason Navoy as the man who lost his life following a two-vehicle accident Tuesday on Mission Boulevard.

As per the initial information, the fatal bicycle crash took place at around 5:30 p.m. at the intersection of Mission Boulevard and Tyrolite Street. The preliminary reports showed that Navoy was riding his bicycle when a small Sedan hit him for undetermined reasons. On arrival, responding officers found the cyclist with major injuries.

Paramedics performed life-saving measures on Navoy, but he died of his injuries. The reports further revealed that Navoy and the Sedan were eastbound when the Sedan struck Navoy. The Sedan driver remained unharmed and stayed at the scene after the accident. No other details are available.

An investigation is ongoing.
