44-Year-Old Woman Was Killed In A Multi-Vehicle Collision In Oakland (Oakland, CA)

The California Highway Patrol reported a multi-vehicle collision in Oakland that killed a woman and left the other badly injured on Tuesday.

Approximately at 11:00 a.m., a 44-year-old woman driving a Chevrolet Volt collided with a Chevrolet Trailblazer SUV driven by another woman. The SUV caught fire right after the collision. Both the women were removed from the vehicles and shifted to the hospital. However, the 44-year-old woman died from injuries. 

The identity of the woman is not yet disclosed. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
