The Texas Department of Public Safety responded to a motor vehicle crash that claimed a life. The crash happened in Midland County off of FM 307 at CR 1110 around 8:34 p.m. on Nov. 24, 2022.
An initial investigation into the crash reveals that Zoila Aguirre Valles, 61, of Midland, was facing north on CR 1110 while at a stop sign. At the same time, 43-year-old Sylvia Pulido Clavel was traveling east on FM 307 in the left lane.
Valles failed to yield at the stop sign, which led Clavel to strike Valle’s car.
Clavel was declared dead by the Midland Fire Department and EMS.
Additional information regarding the crash is currently unavailable. An investigation into the crash is under review.
