According to the California Highway Patrol, a multi-vehicle accident occurred in Corona on Wednesday. The crash happened at Foothill Parkway and Rimpau Avenue at around 10:15 p.m.
According to the investigators, a Ford F-150 and an unknown Tesla were involved in the collision. The officials stated that the Ford driver traveled at a high speed and broadsided the sedan.
A 43-year-old was identified as the Tesla driver who suffered significant injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is not yet known at this time.
According to the reports, it is unclear what caused the crash and if drugs or alcohol were a factor involved. No additional information regarding the fatal crash was provided by the Deputies.
