43-Year-Old Amanda Weaver Killed In A Multi-Vehicle Accident In Houston County (Houston County, TX)

The Texas Department of Public Safety reported a two-vehicle accident on Thursday morning. The accident had occurred on FM 229 near the 666-mile marker in Houston County. 

According to the officials, a 2008 Jeep SUV was heading south while a 2005 Hyundai passenger car was driving north. The driver of the Hyundai had driven into the oncoming lane in a curve which caused the two vehicles to crash head-on. 

The driver of the Hyundai had incurred major injuries and was rushed to a local hospital where she later succumbed to them. She has since been identified as 43-year-old Amanda Weaver. There have been no reports regarding the occupants of the other vehicle involved in the accident. 

The fatal crash is still being investigated by the authorities. There are no other details available at this time.
