Authorities identified 42-year-old Mario Zavala as the victim who died after a traffic collision Monday in Moreno Valley.
As per the initial information, the fatal hit-and-run crash took place on Pigeon Pass Road south of Hemlock Avenue. Responders found Zavala’s body at about 12:40 a.m. Mario Zavala was found dead on the shoulder of the southbound lanes of Pigeon Pass Road.
According to the authorities, Zavala’s body had traumatic injuries that were consistent with a traffic collision. No details are available regarding the suspect or the hit-and-run vehicle.
