The Washington State Patrol reported a motor vehicle crash in Orondo on Friday afternoon.
One mile south of Orondo, a 42-year-old man was killed on Friday in a fatal car crash with a semi-truck.
According to a WSP news release, the man from Orondo, was driving a 2022 Toyota 4Runner eastbound on Highway 2 when he improperly changed lanes and collided with a 2022 Freightliner semi-truck travelling westbound.
The news release states that the man was pronounced dead at the scene. He was identified to be 42 years old and his name has not been disclosed yet.
The fatal crash is being investigated by the officials. No other details regarding the crash are available currently.
