Authorities identified 42-year-old Arif Panjwani, of Duluth, and 81-year-old Gary Wilson as the men who suffered serious injuries following a traffic collision Wednesday morning in Lula.
As per the initial information, the two-vehicle crash took place at the intersection of State Route 365 and Lula Road. The preliminary investigation showed that Arif Panjwani was driving his Ford F-150 southbound behind an Econoline van, driven by Gary Wilson, of Lula.
For unknown reasons, Panjwani rear-ended Wilson’s van. According to the officials, Panjwani was following Wilson’s van too closely. Both men were rushed to Northeast Georgia Medical Center with serious injuries. No additional information has been provided.
The crash remains under investigation.
