41-Year-Old Kirk Filgas Killed In A Pedestrian Accident In Fresno (Fresno, CA)

The Fresno Police Department reported a pedestrian accident that killed a 41-year-old in Fresno on Friday. Later the victim was identified as 41-year-old Kirk Filgas by the Fresno County Coroner’s Office. 

At around 7:00 p.m., Kirk Filgas was crossing the road from the north side to the south. He was hit by a pickup truck that was travelling eastbound on Kings Canyon Road. 

When the officers arrived at the scene, they tried life-saving measures on Kirk.  Unfortunately, he was fatally injured and was pronounced dead. 

It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
